My little sweetheart

Our new little girl Tess has had her problems as of late with spitting up. I figured that I had the baby that was the spit up girl. Well last week it got worse and she would cry morning and night. At first I thought it was something I ate and it was upsetting her stomach. After a couple of days of this I knew it was not this and that it was something else. On Monday I took her to the doctor to see what was going on. They checked to see if it was a food allergy, but that came back just fine. Then her doctor said it was probably acid reflex or a muscle in her stomach that is too strong and can make babies projectile throw up. Well we have Tess on some acid reflex medicine and that seems to be helping her out a lot. There has been less throwing up and crying all night. I hope that it's just the reflex and not the other, because the only way to fix the other one is surgery. For now we have our sweetheart back and we just can't get enough of her. When we were at the doctors they weighed her and to my surprise she weighs 7lbs. 10oz. Presley is doing so good with her. It's so cute because she will come up to her and kiss her and say "hi my little sweetheart".

I hope it's just reflux too. Austin had pyloric stenosis where his stomach muscle was too tight. He was literally starving to death because he couldn't keep anything down. If she's doing better it's probably just reflux. You must be exhausted. I was. So many outfit and bedding changes.

If she still is throwing up about 10-15 minutes after eating I would think it would be pyloric stenosis so just keep an eye out for that. It usually only happens with firstborn males but sometimes girls can get it. SOrry for the long comment but I just want to help because Austin seriously almost died. Good luck.

What an adorable picture! That is so cute that Presley calls Tess my little sweetheart. I'm glad that Presley is being sweet to her little sister and that Tess is doing better. I remember Michael would spit up but he just out grew it. I'm sure she will continue to get better!!

Tyla had acid reflex and the only thing that made her feel better was to sleep upright in her swing! I hope she gets better soon. She is precious.

I saw Dustin at church and he said I should come over, but for 2 1/2 weeks I've been sick with a cold...so I'll be over when that is gone! On another note, I think that is what Courtney had..reflux. Back then, 12 years ago, they diagnosed her with colic. She never spit up, but I think it was spitting up to her throat and then swallowing it again; the burn! The good news is they grow out of it! She's beautiful!

She is so beautiful and I especially like her hairbow(wink)Hey Tatum had acid reflux till she was one.She was so fussy and had the hardest time.it is pretty common...I had no clue!Well they had me put her on something called simply thick once I stopped nursing or whenever I gave her a bottle.it made ALL the difference. You could ask your doc in case you run into more problems.Tatum took Zantac and Reglan.Lifesavers those two meds...good luck!
